I loves this dress

However, I did come across this sweet dress. I want it. Too bad I'm not an extra small, which is the only size available. Sigh.
Is it sad that I want to cuddle up to it and stroke its fine fabric? Yes, yes it is.

It's from one of my favourite "stores":
http://www.paper-doll.com
All Canadian designers.

Romantic Rock by Eve Gravel, now $100.

Lulu-sourlemons

I'm going for the kill.

I like Lululemon stuff. Good material, simple, functional.
But I just don't think forking over $100 for a pair of pants is really worth it. Sure, I suppose it makes some people's asses look good. But really, who are you kidding?
I went to the website and it doesn't even list prices for their stuff. That's just sad, for them and for you and me.
I also came across this: http://thetyee.ca/News/2005/02/17/LuluCritics/
The CEO sounds like a creep.
Then I hear people at work talking about it like it's God's gift to women. Warehouse sales, long line ups for blocks and blocks, off season colours, only larger sizes, crazy "yoga"-loving ladies pushing and shoving their way to their beloved tank tops and pants.
Lulunonono! Don't do it! Save your hard earned money for something better. Like food. Or shelter. Please. Next.

Another update: While at the Eaton Centre today I saw several, yes several, women wearing the dreaded army-themed capris/pants mentioned in one of my earlier posts. Must I even ask why? Is it because Aritzia or Hollister is selling it on sale? That's a crappy reason. Burn them!

I hate leggings

This is the description for Hollister Co. when I looked it up on Google:
"The hottest southern Cali lifestyle clothing geared for outgoing guys and girls."

Am I the only one who finds a problem with this description? "Outgoing" guys and girls? What the hells? Hollister, are you saying if I'm not "outgoing", this clothing is not geared towards me? Descrimination based on personality? That's definitely a new one. I'm sad now. Why won't you love me, Hollister?

Tons of clothing companies sell leggings. (Why? Don't ask me.) But just because of that description, I'm going to single out Hollister for their Asslee leggings. Boo. Let's just keep them in the 80s, where they belong.

Hollister, $24.50

Hmmm... What is this made out of?

Now, let me tell you that I like dresses. Dresses made out of what this dress is made out of? Hahaha... I wish I thought of this.

Forwarded from my friend Karen, $ ___
How many is it made out of? "X" amount times $0.55 each...

My friend Karen sent me this as a forward. I met Karen at Leader Training for the Duke of Edinburgh's Award blah, blah, blah. Point is: We both never finished the training nor got the award, but we bonded, and later went to a Nelly Furtado concert. Then Karen went off to somewhere French-y to teach English and now I am even more jealous now that I am thinking about all the fun, frenchmen, and food she had. Oh, and I converted her to a Cardigans' fan. What's not to love about Karen. Thanks for the forward!

!@#$

I'm not totally sure why there is a market for these pants. They just make me sad.
Hollister, $24.95 (and yes, that's the CLEARANCE price, God help us all).

I don't get why people like Hollister. I don't get the whole "Let's shop in the dark thing with loud music". Why, people, why? Does it make you feel that much cooler? I just feel old when I go in there. And unpretty.

Bitter? Yes, so very yes.

Comfy Summer-y Pants

Ok. My first find is/are(?) these pants from American Eagle. It kinda sucks that THIS is my first find because they don't look that great in the picture. However, when I saw them on the sale rack for $29.95 and I had to exchange something for the same amount, I decided to just take 'em. They're cotton and comfy. Yay!

Welcome to Fashion Finds and Crimes!

Hello, you've found me!

This is my blog dedicated to providing you with the latest deals ("finds") and very, very, bad and ugly ("crimes") relating to fashion or other stuff that I find of interest available in Toronto!

*I have edited this part* I have reread it after a few months and I really don't know what I was thinking. I sounded so harsh and mean. So I have deleted my old intro. Hope you like this new one and my new blurb for my blog description!
